Holiday rentals Vienna : General Terms and Conditions

1 General

 

Holiday Rentals Vienna rents out a fully-furnished apartment equipped with the usual utensils to accommodate its guests.

In cases of doubt, the person booking the apartment shall be considered the guest even if he or she has booked it for other persons including or excluding himself or herself.

The rent for the apartments includes all utility costs, electricity, water and heating and internet accses

 

The rent does not include the cost of changing of bed linen and towels .

Cleaning of the apartment and additional changes of bed linen are possible upon request and for an extra charge 30,-Euros.

 

Articles of consumption (toilet paper, detergents, etc.) are not replenished during the rental period.

 

Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment.

 

Mobile

We can provide you with an Austrian pre-paid mobile phone for your use within the city 10,-Euros , public transport tickets, parking tickets and groceries from a list which I will send you (official prices and supermarket prices without any surcharge or service charge).

 

Increased rates

In the week before Easter and in the time around Christmas and New Year (Dec. 20 –Jan. 01.) the minimum booking is 5 nights and the price increase 25%

 

2.2 Booking Guarantee

 

Holiday Rentals Vienna accepts exclusively bookings which are guaranteed by the person booking the apartment by any of the following means:

We take reservations by phone, mail or e-mail.

Upon reservation a prepayment of 25 % of the total amount for the full length is due within three working days.

With receipt of the prepayment the reservation becomes a firm booking.

The remaining amount is payable in cash at arrival with the handover of the set of keys.

2.3 Deposit

A deposit of EUR 100,- for the set of keys will be taken at arrival and returned on the day of departure.

In case of cancellation, written notice (Mail or e-mail) must be receivedby Holiday Rentals Vienna at least one week before the arrival date.

For cancellations within one week of the arrival date the prepayment will be charged as a cancellation fee.

3 Arrival and Departure

Check-in is possible from 4:00 p.m., however, Holiday Rentals Vienna cannot guarantee that the cleaning of the apartment is finished before 4:00 p.m.

Check-Out until 10:00 a.m.

The guests are requested to vacate the apartment by 10:00 a.m., taking with them all their personal property.

Before leaving the apartment, the guests shall ensure they have all their baggage and personal belongings….. they then put the keys in the apartment in a clearly visible place on the tabel next to the TV .

Then, the guests shall close the door to the apartment from the outside.

The guests are obligated to treat the apartment and its furniture and inventory with care as if it was their own property. The guests shall bear the full costs for repairing any damage caused by them either intentionally or by improper handling (e.g., burn holes, damaged or extremely dirty furniture/textiles, glass breakage, etc.).

In case of loss of a key, the deposit of EUR 100,- for the set of keys will be taken and not returned .

4 Miscellaneous

The apartment must not be rented or sublet to third parties.

Holiday Rentals Vienna does not assume any liability for theft, loss, damage to property or for injuries or sickness of the guests.

All complaints and defects shall be reported without delay so that Holiday Rentals Vienna can arrange for a solution to the problem as quickly as possible.
